Deva Kirubai Social Help Association (DKSHA), is a non-governmental organization based in Tamil Nadu State, India. We provide free education and housing to orphaned, semi-orphaned and economic-orphaned children. We also cooperate with local communities to develop sustainable and long-lasting economic changes which work towards the empowerment of marginalized people, especially women.
DKSHA has four main programs:
The Children’s Home: DKSHA’s primary service project. The home guarantees that all children involved with DKSHA are provided with shelter, food, education, clothing, shoes, school supplies, homework support, and even personalized follow-ups.
- Communities development projects : DKSHA implements organic training for farmers, women job training and family micro-business which aims to help them achieve self-sufficiency.
- Health Projects: DKSHA visits surrounding villages in order to organize and finance regular dental consultations, HIV awareness/detection programs, routine eye check-ups, cataract operations, and general medicine services.
- Water and Sanitation Projects: DKSHA helps to build water filtration facilities in order to provide the surrounding schools and villages with clean running water.
We always work together with local communities to make impactful changes.
