DKSHA provides its neighboring villages with several basic medical services. Said services include regular dental consultations, HIV awareness/detection programs, routine eye check-ups, cataract operations, and general health services.

During our last medical service aimed at promoting proper eye health; 207 people benefitted from free consultations, 74 were granted free surgery, and 43 more received free eye-glasses!

DKSHA has also introduced health education courses to all of its Self-Help Group members.

Children and staff living in Cornerstone Orphanage at DKSHA Society village Mullippadi have been supported by Ms.Varshini Odayar through her 501(c) (3) Organization – Sparking Lives.

We the children and staff at Cornerstone Orphanage DKSHA Society @ Village Mullippadi, Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli District of Tamil Nadu – India have been receiving General Health check ups with the generous help of Varshini Odayar who has been sending regularly the financial help for all of us to have a health check up once in every 3 months for the past 4 long years. We are forever grateful.
